AL WABA CRATER
Al Waba crater has a width of 4 km and a depth of 250 meters and is one of the natural wonders of Saudi Arabia. At first it was thought
to have been formed following the crash of a meteorite but then it was understood that its formation was due to volcanic eruptions.
It resembles a vast bowl with an opaque lake at its center and is about a two-hour drive from Taif and about a four-hour drive from Jeddah. It is possible to climb it and admire the lunar landscape from the edge of the crater.
